Thespis Theatrical Costumiers continue to excel in bringing high quality costume hire on to the stage for this production.

The overall look of the production is that1950 - 1960 gritty urban grunge. The colour pallet used for our costume hire is that of muted colours and bright colours have been specifically avoided even in the Ronnettte dresses to reflect the true dark comedy. Thespis' costumes aren't just costumes, they're our pride and joy, we live and breathe costumes! We spend countless hours researching our character inspiration and constructing their outfits or sourcing originals from all around the world to ensure perfection down to the finest detail. And at a fraction of the cost and effort of putting it together yourself.

Little Shop of Horrors costume hire: Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's dark comedy musical features 1960 era rock and roll, doo-wop and Motown style musical numbers. Awkward Seymour Krelborn works for abusive Mushnik at a down and out florist shop in skid row in New York. Seymour's admiration for his co-worker Audrey, who dates the sadistic dentist Orin Scrivello, leads him to feed human blood to a talking plant that promises to make Seymour successful enough to win Audrey's love. There are many original 50`s & 60`s period costumes used through out Little Shop Of Horrors although many key costumes such as the dresses for the Ronnettes ( Crystal, Chiffon, Ronnette), 1950s style diner waitress dresses and the vintage style usherette dresses were specifically made for the this production.
